Miertschin team wins the Inn of the Mountain Gods SCPGA Pro-Scratch.

Devin Miertschin, PGA, of Lone Star Golf Club and amateurs Chris Folkner (a), Brian Kern (a) and Mike Brooks (a) shot a bogey-free 14-under-par 130 on Tuesday to win by eight strokes at 26-under-par 262. The team led after both rounds.

A bogey-free 130 on Tuesday

Miertschin’s team led by two strokes after Monday’s 12-under-par 132, when it played the back nine in 9-under-par 63. Starting on No. 1 in Tuesday’s 8:30 a.m. shotgun, it played each nine in 7-under-par 65 without a hole over par.

Kern, who eagled the par-5 11th on Monday, eagled the 557-yard, par-5 ninth, and Miertschin birdied it. No team in the field shot lower than 130.

Three teams tie for second at 270

Three teams tied for second at 18-under-par 270: those of Anthony Romero, PGA, of Inn of the Mountain Gods; Riley Morris, PGA Associate, of Cruces Total Golf; and Daniel Nunez, PGA, of the US Senior Professional Tour. Morris’ team closed with 133, tied for the second-best round of the day.

The team of Bill Harvey, PGA, of Ladera Golf Course, which won last year’s Pro-Scratch at Alto Lakes, tied for fifth at 17-under-par 271 with the team of Wil Collins, PGA, of Arroyo Del Oso Golf Course.

Bill Harvey, PGA, won the 2025 Pro-Scratch at Alto Lakes with Scott Roser (a), Lance Kuykendall (a) and Gaetan Biane (a) at 27-under-par 259. When the event was last played at Inn of the Mountain Gods, in June 2024, Dustin Blair, PGA, of Horizon Golf & Conference Center won at 24-under-par 264 with a team that included Marland Singleton (a) and Anthony Lara (a). The three played together again this week and tied for seventh at 16-under-par 272.
