About the Foundation

The Sun Country Golf Foundation was founded in 1999 as a collaboration of the Sun Country Section of the Professional Golfers Association of America and the Sun Country Amateur Golf Association.
Our Foundation "impacts lives through golf" through three Pillars of Impact:
– Youth
– Military Outreach
– Inclusion
Our Programs
PGA WORKS Fellowship is a valuable entry level employment opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds to garner experience in all facets of the golf industry.
Youth on Course is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable golf to young people. The Sun Country Junior Tour has partnered with Youth on Course to provide $5 rounds at participating facilities as one of your Junior Tour membership benefits.
PGA Jr. League is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 13 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals. Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends.
PGA HOPE (Helping our Patriots Everywhere) is an impactful program to provide free golf equipment, instruction, and playing opportunities for U.S. Military Veterans – especially those who suffer from physical or mental challenges following their years of service. We currently have three (3) PGA HOPE programs in Albuquerque, Farmington, and Las Cruces, NM.
