  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FELLOWSHIP IS OVER?

The Sun Country PGA Works Fellowship is a one-year, paid immersion in a PGA Sections's Foundation operations. This entry-level employment experience offers a taste of what a career in the golf industry can provide. As a Fellow, you will gain experience in tournament operations, Foundations programming, and learning the game of golf.

The Fellowship program is open to anyone who has recently graduated from college or graduate school. While it is designed to provide opportunities for underrepresented groups in golf such as women, people of color, and military personnel, everyone is encouraged to apply and become a part of the golf industry's workforce.

Over the course of the year, the Fellow will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn tournament operations/help with Section events
  • Become familiar with the rules and overall game of golf
  • Help with Foundation programming

There are currently 22 Fellows distributed among 22 Sections and two affiliated organizations.

No, golf experienced is not required to be a Fellow!

The Fellowship provides those with the necessary skills and experiences to be successful throughout their careers to come. Whether it be continuing to work within the golf industry, at the section, or moving on to work within a different sport, the WORKS Fellowship provides you with many opportunities to get you to the next step.
