The new points system has been taken from the PGA Tour and the FedEx Cup points system with the allocations listed below.  At each satellite play day you will receive points determined by the place that you finish in that play day.  After each event, points will be allocated to the the respective age divisions and genders.  Players participating for the points will be girls and boys ages 10-18 in their respective divisions.  This is a change from the past, as we want to add more excitement and enthusiasm for the younger players.

Points will be given for all satellite play days, parent/juniors and Drive Chip and Putt qualifiers.  Points for events like parents/juniors and DCP quailifiers will be given out for participation, every player participating will receive 100 points just for playing.  There will be no points given based on performance because these events are meant to be relaxed and fun!  Players will also receive points for the Stableford Championship and the Jr. Tour Championship based on performance.

Accumulation of points is very important this year!  Unlike years in the past we will be awarding a Player of the Year for each age division and gender with amazing looking trophies. After the Sun Country Jr. Tour Championship we will award Player of the Year Points and determine of the 2020 Player of the Year for each division. We hope that this new player of the year system will generate more participation and excitement to play in more Sun Country Jr. Tour events.
