Player of the Year Points System
ABOUT THE POINT SYSTEM
The new points system has been taken from the PGA Tour and the FedEx Cup points system with the allocations listed below. Â At each single day tournament you will receive points determined by the place that you finish in that play day. After each event, points will be allocated to the the respective age divisions and genders. Players participating for the points will be girls and boys ages 10-18 in their respective divisions. Points will be given for all single day tournaments and our Majors.Â
Accumulation of points is very important this year! Â Unlike years in the past we will be awarding a Player of the Year for each age division and gender with amazing looking trophies. After the Sun Country Jr. Tour Championship we will award Player of the Year Points and determine of the 2025 Player of the Year for each division. We hope that this new player of the year system will generate more participation and excitement to play in more Sun Country Jr. Tour events.
